Meet Our Teachers!

Ms. Maureen has a passion for building  creativity in children and celebrating imagination. Our founder and creative visionary, Ms. Maureen is a licensed K-12 Art Educator with a degree in Graphic design.  A powerhouse of art education, Ms. Maureen has over 30 years of experience teaching art to children across preschool, elementary school, after school, and summer camp settings. Outside of the studio, Ms. Maureen loves all things Disney and spending lots of time with her Grandson, Asher! 

Ms.Nicole loves helping students develop into independent, curious, and inquisitive learners!  Our studio’s administrative mastermind and daughter of owner (Ms. Maureen), Ms. Nicole is a licensed and National Board Certified science teacher with a degree in Middle Grades Education. A true teacher at heart, Ms. Nicole has 15 years of teaching experience spanning across art, science, and dance! Outside of Paint Paper Paste, Ms. Nicole loves spending time playing with her son, Asher, along with baking and reading!

Ms. Kate loves helping young artists explore art and stretch the limits of their creativity. A Paint Paper Paste instructor since 2022, Ms.Kate has a bachelor’s in Elementary Education, a Master’s in Reading Education, and has been a full time Nanny for the past 7 years. She also works behind the scenes as our Events Manager and is our ultimate Lead Party Host.  Outside of Paint Paper Paste, Ms. Kate enjoys practicing aerial circus arts!

Mr. Daniel loves teaching our students and seeing them feel proud of what they made. A Paint Paper Paste instructor since 2023, Mr. Daniel has a bachelor’s in Art Education. He has been teaching for 13 years, currently both at Paint Paper Paste and NCSU. Outside of teaching, Mr. Daniel enjoys cooking and playing video games! 

Ms. Julia loves seeing pride in her students when they master a new skill!  Our resident "littles" expert, you can find Ms. Julia working with our youngest artists in Paint Paper PLAY, Create Outside the Lines, or Magenta Makers offerings.  Ms. Julia has a Masters in Speech Pathology and is a superstar mom to three daughters.  When not creating and imagining with little artists at Paint Paper Paste, you can find Ms. Julia playing with her puppy, Sadie, or cheering on her daughters in dance and cheer!

Ms. Kimberly loves seeing the positive impact creative play and art have on our students’  development and confidence. Ms. Kimberly has a bachelor's degree in studio art. She brings her experience as a youth counselor, art instructor, and nanny to her teaching at Paint Paper Paste. Outside of the studio, Ms. Kimberly  enjoys exploring the Triangle area and illustrating!

Lae loves to foster an excitement about art in our students (along with sprinkling fun animal facts into class). Lae brings their experience as a local artist creating and selling art across multiple mediums into their teaching at Paint Paper Paste. Outside of the studio, Lae is a gifted barista who enjoys trying new foods and exploring new cafes! 

Ms. Rachel is a passionate art educator who can be found in the elementary art classroom during the school year and in our studios in the summer!  Ms. Rachel is a licensed Art Teacher who currently works full time in Wake County as a local elementary school art teacher.  When not teaching art, you can find Ms. Rachel doing yoga, reading, or spending time with her husband and her friends!
