Cartooning (ages 5-9)

Class Description

From Kawaii to Manga and everything in between! In these classes artists will explore all the styles of cartooning that pique their interest. The adorable simplicity of kawaii, the nostalgic memories created by traditional cartoon styles, the power of our comic book heroes and the contemporary emotions of the manga style. Students will work on creating original characters, and we’ll take these cartoons from pencil sketches to inked outlines and finally to full color renderings.
